My Uncle...

His name was Ray Nelson. He was born on March 8, 1925. He was small for his age.

In 1933 he attended 3rd grade in Vernon, Texas.

He lived with his father, mother, brother and sister. They loved him very much. They affectionately called him "Biffo". He was well liked at school and had many friends.

One Saturday morning in October of 1933 a neighbor shouted from across the street that he was going to the post office. His mother asked him to take the post office key to the neighbor. He was on the floor reading a comic book. He continued to read. She told him to hurry and take the key over he could read later. As he ran across the highway he was hit by a truck and killed. He was eight years old.

Thanks for stopping by.

Love, Kathy

Babysitting Fuzzy...

Today I am babysitting my grandson.

We call him Fuzzy.

Together we are watching a Barney sing-a-long. He is loving it. It makes me think back to sweet Mr. Rogers. He had such a calming effect.
Don't know what it is about Barney, but he is definitely catching and holding ten month old Fuzzy's attention.

Have a blessed day. I know I will with my little Fuzzy.
