Back To Reality...

We made it back safely from our cruise. First stop was Mexico, second stop was the Cayman Islands and last Jamaica. The weather was rainy and windy. Instead of an excursion in Mexico we ate at our favorite restaurant, Palmeras, and shopped in the Market.
When we arrived in the Cayman Islands the weather was so bad the Port Authorities cancelled all excursions, so we stayed on the ship. There is always so much to do on the ship you never get bored.
We went to an ice show, saw a Beatlemania show and just relaxed on deck.
We had a delightful time in Jamaica where we visited a school,
a papaya plantation
and the oldest and tallest church in Jamaica
with the most beautiful stained-glass windows.

Of everything we did on the trip we both agreed the little boys and girls at the Friendship Basic School made our trip complete. They were bouncing off the walls and curious to see and touch everything we had. A couple of the boys started to kick and fight with each other and the teacher had to step in.

This little guy got in trouble and had to sit down.
They were adorable.
After visiting the school we drove to the papaya plantation where we were served Jerk Chicken and yellow yams.
The chicken was good. The yams-not so good.
Our guide brought out some bottles of Rum for us to taste. Jamaica is known for it's rum and according to hubby it was good.
After leaving Jamaica we sailed for two days back to Galveston, Texas.
 The weather was beautiful.
Unfortunately it is time to get back to reality. Unpacking, washing clothes, putting away things and getting my mind around the fact that Christmas is almost here.
Have a great day!!!
