Top Ten Tuesday...

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish . This week the topic  is the top ten books I would hand to someone who says they don't like to read. Well, since I love to read and am always trying to get non-readers to read my favorite books I jumped right on this one. *= My all-time favorites.

1. To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee*
2. Water For Elephants by Sara Gruen
3. The Help by Kathryn Stockett
4. Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
5. The Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers*
6. Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe
7. Haunted Mesa by Louis Lamour
8. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald*
9. Amoveable Feast by Ernest Hemmingway*
10. The Wind In The Willows by Kenneth Grahame

Happy Reading!!!

I'm an avid reader too; don't know what I'd do with myself in retirement if I didn't LOVE to read! :)

OOOOH just look at that list!!! I've never yet read Mark of the Lion or Haunted Mesa, but since I'd say ditto to everything else you've listed I think I need to go check these two books out!!! Did you see that they are making Great Gatsby into another movie this Spring? I'm not quite sure what to think about it, but I hope it's good!

Hi, I'm Joy's mom, and I didn't know you had a blog either. I always click on to visit the person if they're following or leaving a comment. And when I clicked on your little SugarMoon picture, nothing ever happened. So glad it has now. Wind in the Willows and To Kill a Mockingbird are two of my favorites. Nice to meet you, Kathy.
